Just how it all came about?

​

​

Whilst working for a local Breast Cancer Charity, I witnessed the huge

relief that Complementary Therapies afforded our patients who had received a cancer diagnosis.

​

Reflexology, Massage, Acupuncture and Lymphatic Drainage were seen to help relieve the side effects of chemotherapy, calm anxiety, settle digestive disorders, regulate sleep patterns, reduce fluid retention and much, much more. 

​

​Seeing such positive changes through the therapies inspired me to train to be a therapist myself. I really wanted to help in some small way. ​

​

So, in 2017 I began training in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. My love of anatomy went on to fuel a fascination for therapy work.

These qualifications also provided me with a good understanding of body systems, general health and well-being.

​

In 2018/2019 I qualified in Reflexology, Body Massage and Holistic Facial Massage.​ ​

​

I have also studied emotional counselling, which has taught me how valuable support can be.

My treatment room is a safe space to be, where empathy and understanding will be found in abundance to support your physical and emotional needs. ​

 

​This year (2023) I have trained under the guidance of Sally Kay and I am now qualified as a practitioner for "Reflexology for Lymphatic Drainage." Special techniques integrated into a reflexology treatment can help reduce fluid and arm volume of those suffering from secondary Lymphoedema post surgery. Keeping a healthy fluid flow around the Lymphatics can support the body's immune system and aid recovery.

 I absolutely love my job as a Therapist.

I have the loveliest clients and I consider myself very lucky to do what I do​​​​​​!!
